I know I've said this before, but I really am close. This is the second to last chapter. That's right, story finale next chapter; let's hope it turns out better than farscape's finale.

I just read the whole thing, and you seemed to change your writing style around the bast chater, you stopped calling them leve 3, level 5, etc, and used JP and HMG's, any reason for th@?

Basically, when UE was started, the aliens did not have names, and the equipment wasn't finalized. I started UE WAY back in december of 2001. This is also the reason for the almost outrageous number of aliens in the earlier chapters.

i was hooked, even took time outta studying and... inbelievably, playing NS to read it. took me 3 days of sporadic reading though... i love it
, i like the missions on maps like nothing, bast, hera etc allowed me to know exaclty what the setting looked like almost

I don't think they can reproduce with a female and cloning is a bit hard when all the ship's systems are down. It would be a funny race, though... an entire race of males. (Sarah wasn't on-board, right?)
